My husband trained thoroughbreds for almost 50 years and learned a long time ago (from those much older than he) that if you have a sick horse---get a &quot;fresh&quot; pile (of poop) from a healthy horse, mix it in a bucket with some water, strain it and shoot it through a tube in the nose into the sick horse&#39;s stomach...voila!
