Antibody tests check your blood for antibodies to the virus that causes COVID-19, but the virus comes from a family of similar viruses

re: Positive for COVID-19? I actually run the testing for the virus I am very skeptical of the results also. There are many factors that determine whether a test comes out positive or negative. The proper collection of the sample #1. The viral load of the infection , is it enough to give a positive result #2. The proper protocol being used to properly run the test #3. The testing was approved by the FDA for emergency use because there is no other way to test for the virus. These tests are not tried and true like many of the tests being run in the lab for years. I have heard Drs. say I’m sure thus patient is positive they have all the symptoms but the test came back negative. It’s so much better to concentrate on getting and staying healthy instead of trying to catch up and improve health in a pandemic. Oh I forgot .. that wouldn’t be good for pharma or the profit driven healthcare system.:(</p>
