Obesity is a co-factor in EVERY disease. If you start out obese/unhealthy---then it stands to reason that you are NEVER going to be truly healthy! This makes your odds of surviving ANY disease or health problem worse than those who are a healthy weight when the disease began. Just makes sense...and as Mr. Spock would say it is just logical.

Recently saw on the news...4 out of five black women in the USA are are obese to severely obese.

Sad.

I think most add weight comes from eating foods that contain sugar. Dairy may also contribute. I eat neither and. haven't for the. past 49. years, and I am really thin, and fairly healthy at 82. I work almost full time in gardening, painting, computer usage including saving articles that I think could be referenced in future journal writing, and I do my own housecleaning. I have my moments of choosing the wrong foods and getting reactions with allergies or some bronchial. allergy, but I am working on the cleansing of my sinuses, my liver, and following the latest news in herbal products for the elderly.
