Remember when general littering was such a problem, so maybe people will respond to the same approach. Signs all over to start with, like the do not litter campaign. As for the tiny pieces in the ocean and how does that lead to an estrogen effect like in bottled water re sea creatures. I'm not quite sure there much be a long long list.

People should have figured out not to litter the ocean at the same time they responded to do not litter in general. I need a better education about ocean pollution to understand, but ignoring common sense seems a best guess re cause.

Who's making stuff out of plastic? The Chinese? Are we paying them to take our plastic, then they toss what they don't want into the ocean? What's going on? I used to recycle "religiously" but now I put plastic in the trash to be incinerated.
