The 99% are being divided purposefully. Those people enforcing lockdown are being trained and inured to abuse people. The people are being trained to accept abuse so that they acquiesce. The same thing happened after 9/11 and the absurd airport security system was installed world wide. This is just another example of how the 1% who mostly are exempt from this abuse think alike everywhere. The upshot is that the 99% become poorer and less in control and the 1% richer and more in control.

The Nursing home wants the money so will not release her? Hospitals/nursing home may not help. Natural help may help and keep a person healthy/happy/active etc..

So depressing to watch the video. Police are people like the rest of us, and surely some of them will recognize what is irrational .. So much chaos, but in time there will be fewer willing to enforce what is unnecessary and hurtful and choose to keep energy flowing in the right direction.

I don't know all the specifics about this case, but so much comes down to common sense so maybe overthinking is to blame. Also, I don't know how old folks are doing in care homes in other areas, but from what I've read it seems the elderly would be safer with family members if possible. There continues to be difficulty keeping the virus out of elderly facilities.

My guess would be the lady has a substantial estate and the home is protecting their revenue source

A qualified nurse who really cases would be the best care she could have

It’s disgraceful that this has happened. She should be with her family if they can look after her adequately. Many U.K. nursing homes are presently under staffed due to covid and struggling to maintain their usual high standard of care. I would have thought the Staff would have been relieved to have one less resident to worry about.

Perhaps the Nursing homes owners were influenced by the potential loss of income and started all this fuss. My Aunt, with early dementia is being charged a basic £1000 per week, which I believe is less than some Nursing Homes charge.

It’s BIG business in the UK. Quality of life tends to be of lesser importance unfortunately.

Everyone involved in this atrocity---from the nursing home personnel to the cops---should be arrested and given lengthy prison terms with no early release.

Anger, recoiling shock, and resolve are my responses to this with prayer for his intervention and grace to stand. We must never allow these things or accept them if God permits it. For these things judgment is coming, and sometimes his intervention is postponed to that great and terrible Day. The response of God to the 'gods' behind these things is pretty plain in Psalm 82 and the book of Revelation 6-20 KJV. He will also destroy those who destroy the earth before restoring it for a thousand years, and the dominionists and builders will be silent before him. Men are responsible for their stewardship & actions toward the creation and their fellow man, and conscientiously all men know and are without excuse. The best response to this is proactive: making sure we & our loved ones know the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ according to the scriptures, and have the sure hope that they are never alone or without hope in the face of evil. Ironically, it is that sure and evident faith relationally experienced as we meet with the Lord in the scriptures and prayer to see them fulfilled again and again, even in those negative foretold things such as these proving man's universal need & inability to self-justify and build a righteous world without evil.....that gives the inner strength, resolve & grace of God as our spirit testifies with his and in harmony with the word to stand to the end. Rather than to be the type of 'survivor' that Herod the Great, the Roman emperors, and Soros and such were, and are, for only a time. There is even a hint in scripture that those presuming they can overcome death with their craft& knowledge technology, and presumably achieve it in corruptible flesh, or with the aid of alien angelic ability, will regret the reality of what they actually get in Revelation 9 when God gives them over to their desire in judgment.
