It’s a valid concern, especially in the midst of a global pandemic when teens may be spending more time on screens due to cancellations of other extracurricular activities

re: Teens Who Limit Screen Time Have Better Mental Health

Teens who limit screen time have better mental health".

So do adults. For one thing, it means you have something better to do with your time.

Most young people today, live in a "Virtual World". Many have lost touch with reality. Now; with the corona pushers "suggesting" that we do everything online...we have entered a new era of insanity!

In the process, a scary ride. There is only one pay phone I've seen in a long time, but I don't know if it actually works. Home landlines seem much different than in the past, such as dropping calls, etc. Is there radiation exposure via that set up? Typically people talk on the phone a lot during teenage years, but radiation and other aspects of using cell phone to that extent seems so bad for health.

So many products in general are pushed with little thought of the environment or health. Many people are aware of the downside , re phones, but alternatives seem in the process of being removed or have already vanished. Some countries have put out warnings about the dangers of children re cell phones. I don't really know how to evaluate, other than constant use so many people carrying a phone on their body seems so unhealthy.

Screen time bombards everyone with the agenda of others, but younger people must have an especially difficult time sorting through what is happening to them on a daily basis. There is something to be said for everyone getting back to their own agenda book. Although it is necessary to dig deep due to pushed agendas, there is much that can be learned from internet time than wouldn't be known otherwise. Most teenagers aren't using screen time to dig through news and find what is true or fake. I assume teenage screen time is often superficial, and that doesn't lead to a meaningful feeling at the end of the day.
