This may seem sensible advice but as Dr Mercola points out they suggest only 400 IUs per day. Is this as sensible as giving a dehydrated elephant in a desert a tea spoon of water to make sure it has enough milk for its newborn. OK I'm exaggerating but this is very sensible for Big pHARMA because when it has little effect then they are likely to crow that it doesn't work and then the government lackey who made such a foolish recommendation will get a lucrative job working for them at a later date. One of their usual devious deceits when they do trials with a vitamin is not using it in sufficient amounts and then claim it is ineffective. I have a phrase for this kind of fraud and all their other pseudo science ...Doctored dog turd words!!

Why do you continue to use the phrase "Dying From Covid"? Can you prove that anyone has actually died from this virus. I still see ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE of this virus and I will always side with the evidence! This is insanity in overdrive. Don't worry; the vaccines will fix everything; although, you will still have to wear a mask and "social" distance! Stop playing the globalist's game; it is rigged.

That’s odd, right before this plandemic started, my doctor sent me a follow up letter clearly advising me to stop taking my Vitamin D and my B12! Can I charge him for attempted murder, or something like this? He was very serious about this. 🤔

I have sent Mercola articles advocating for vitamin D to my local health department and my state representative. I was completely ignored. My friend also sent the information to our local “infectious disease “ expert doctor, who has quite a platform in the local media. She was also not acknowledged at all. We spoke to my friend’s son in law, who is a family practice/urgent care physician. He said it’s all political! Not a surprise at all, but so frustrating! I ordered a nebulizer and the food grade hydrogen peroxide Mercola recommended to have on hand. My friend came down with Covid. I sent her the article about using the nebulizer and offered her my supplies. She took me up on the offer! Her experience was just as Dr. Mercola reported. Her cough resolved after a couple of treatments! And she never got seriously ill. She has replaced my supplies, keeping the ones I gave her for the rest of her family, just in case! Those supplies cost me less than an doctor’s office visit. It is frightening the grip that an industry has on our government, and is reaching for our individual freedoms...all for profit.

In July I wrote to my M.P. expressing my concern over the complete lack of nutritional advice from the media and government, citing the need to boost our immune systems in order to fight infections, in particular the use of vitamin D which, at the time was freely available from sunshine. I was indeed pleased to hear some days later much the same call from Dr. Aseem Malhotra. This belated offer of vitamin D in suppliment form seems to me to be an example of 'shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted.

This is a sensible step from the British government. I'm surprised that "Matt Hancock has also called for a review into whether the “sunshine vitamin” can reduce the risk of dying from COVID." As summarized in a review of DR. Mercola there is enough evidence that vitamin D supplementation can reduce the percentage of COVID patients who die.
