@redplanet1 It’s hard to misread something short and unequivocal so having a pop at me for your nonsensical suggestion is disingenuous to say the least. It’s only “easy to police” if EVERYONE has a smart phone, downloads the app and agrees to use it. That’s not going to happen unless we move to a complete police state and the same police state issues EVERYONE with a trackable device! Seriously?! Good luck with that. It would also be completely unenforceable in EU law which guarantees free movement of people. It would have to be an EU law, not a French one, and even that would violate international law! In short... not a prayer.

Are we forgetting that we are under GLOBAL MEDICAL TYRANNY? Everything that's here now; and what's to come, has been in the plans for decades. Vaccine "passports", in one form or another, are coming - globally! No one will be able to buy or sell; unless he/she has the mark! The oligarchs are going for broke on this one and it isn't going to be pretty! Considering where we are at this time; has anyone figured out yet, why the developers are constructing high rises and luxury homes as if there's no tomorrow? Exactly, who is going to be moving into all of these expensive residences?

I think the same will come in the UK soon. I don’t want the vaccine. I am very healthy and don’t want to get sick and be part of an experiment. I get ridiculed everywhere as mad and selfish .

It has been a long time since I have flown or traveled by public transportation. My opinion of city buses and trains is that they are roving horizontal crime scenes and disease vectors. Best avoided. I also remember a time when air travel was exciting and you were treated like an esteemed customer instead of cargo. People would actually bathe and dress nicely. (Pajamas were not considered suitable attire in public.) You did not have to sit next to someone's pet pony *** service animal. You were served real food with real silverware by a pleasant stewardess. With travel, such as it has become, I have no incentive to use public transportation anyway.

I keep hearing about the things that will be done to coerce me into being vaccinated. I am not so sure being quarantined on my own land is a bad thing if an effort is made to keep the crazies away from me. I know from previous experience that some of my friends will always find me, esp. for herbal remedies (pain). Some people have long memories and are quite loyal. They will be quite capable of covering dirt roads and trekking thru a forest, if necessary. I joke that we will need to leave a cash "kitty" by the front door to reimburse visitors from town for bananas if we become so reclusive that the only thing we really crave from a supermarket is bananas. (Even in my greenhouse, I have done poorly with trying to raise banana trees.)

I just cruised our orchard and vineyard today. I am ecstatic to see that everything is getting well-established and showing signs of vital energy. With a bit more weather cooperation, this should be the year we start seeing the good production that we have been waiting for. I need to replace only 1 tree, but want to buy 3 more trees this spring to add. Our goal is to have some kind of fruit early season and far into late season, so I am expanding some self-fertile varieties. I have a weakness for books and trees. I may have to go commercial if my heirloom fruit outpaces my neighbors.

And no doubt that would require regular testing, paid for by the victim, thereby adding further pressure to get vaccinated. That “get out clause” could be very draconian.

Fisher, your rewriting of history is disturbing. The US did nothing to help France until The Japanese blew up Pearl Harbor!

Being forced into a war that they were happy to sit back and make money off the UK who took on Germany the moment they invaded Poland is not something to be proud of. If the US was going to leap to the defence of France, in recognition of their previous contribution, they would have done so in 1939, not the end of 1941!

What's crazy about this is that proof of vaccination is no indication that you are not contagious of any disease. And if they can come up with a QR code or any sort of proof that you had your vaccination, those records can be hacked and worked around the system. Bribes to the barely trained vaccination providers will happen until they can find a way to microchip you and even that has possibilities of being manipulated. And then what about the discrimination against the large group of people that can't tolerate the vaccinations? Will the rest of us allow the discrimination to happen just as long as we can get by?

@Redplanet1 Not so fast with that APP and surveillance! Firstly, not everyone has a smart phone that can carry an app and not everyone who has a phone will put one on it! That’s the thin end of the wedge. Secondly, if you are going to make it mandatory to have an app on a phone that can track you then you really have gone down a very dangerous path. Good luck with your dystopian world as that makes you part of the problem, not the solution.
