The US Government seems to be a million miles away from wanting to find the source of this so called "deadly virus". Doubt if there will be any serious investigations of the Wuhan Lab as the possible source. Their priority seems to lie in getting this vaccine out to the entire world.

In the mean time, while this deadly virus is going around, you can stock up on plenty of non-nutritional, sugar and chemically laden Valentines Candy that is suddenly pouring off the shelves in the many stores that are open to provide us with the essentials we need to make it through this deadly pandemic. And while you're on your way home from stocking up on those essentials, don't forget to stop at the the double lane drive thru at any Mc Barf type fast food establishment so you can replenish your energy with a giant Coke (or Pepsi) and a large fry that just came out of a deep fryer with some top of the line frying grease.

I think if the truth were made known, most of the major nations of the world have been involved in this kind of research. The US is not entirely guilt-free, either. Legality is not always the same as morality.

I have read that they found traces of the virus in sewage in Spain and Italy in 2018 so it must have gotten away some time ago.
