So much for my Scotland vacation. Who knew that the health secretary was also one of the country's leading hotel investors? Guess he didn't get the memo from the now deceased Nobel laureate Dr. Kary Mullins, inventor of PCR testing, that "You cannot use this [PCR] test to diagnose an infectious disease". Dr. Mullins was truly a man of science. Too bad he died in August 2019 before his PCR test was so badly abused to create a worldwide health scare.

I've read that it costs as much as $20,000 USD per year to incarcerate prisoners. So, if someone "travels" (as in, moves around how many feet, meters, or kilometers--not sure), the UK is willing to spend around a quarter of a million to punish that person? Sounds a little odd. No one has that kind of money lying around.
