I was feeling great admiration for China's in-your-face chutzpah since it sounded like a slap at foreigners. So refreshing to see other countries who actually LIKE themselves and their people more than they like others, as they should! But then with a little research found they have also used these anal tests extensively on their own citizens. So nothing to admire here. Just a disgusting procedure by a tyrannical regime.

"Welcome to China. Please bend over, touch your toes and spread your cheeks.". That's something that you would expect in a Penitentiary - NOT an airport! The "New Normal" my ass! Pun intended. If you can't laugh at this insanity (as long as you're not being subjected to it)...I don't travel; although, something like this would be a real deterrent if I was a traveler. Can it get any more invasive? I'm trying to imagine all the Lemmings that will obey - without question!

One of the body's ways of eliminating toxins is through feces. So if your body is in the process of soon eliminating the toxin, why are they (Chinese authorities) worrying about it?

This is psy-ops on steroids. In the same way that prisons force inmates to bend for anal inspections, this is a loud and clear message of forced human exposure, vulnerability, and debasement to authority. I pity the traveler who has to go there for a job. No matter the salary, nothing is worth that form of degradation.
