I have had tinnitus since my 20's and it has grown worse with age adding in noise pollution. I always thought tinnitus was indicative of nerve damage. It seems to me, perhaps, Covid-19 effects could be exacerbating the issue with the absence of appropriate vitamins and minerals in our diet through the over consumption of processed foods.

Never had any Covid symptoms but I have been having ear issues for over a year now: tinnitus, vertigo, and hearing loss. Some days are better than others. Not sure if this is Covid related but strange how these problems fall in line with the Covid timeline. It would explain why the problem has persisted for so long.

When an integrative ENT evaluates a patient with tinnitus and / or dizziness he will evaluate with medical exams (audiometry, impedanciometry, veng, sometimes nuclear magnetic resonance), but he will also evaluate the metabolism, anatomical changes and the emotions influencing the shoulder girdle and neck . Chinese medicine made me have different eyes for otoneurological issues. I wonder if many of these patients do not have chronic inflammatory processes that can generate these otoneurological complaints.

I've had tinnitus since an ear infection 20 years ago. It comes and goes and I'd gotten used to it. Then I got COVID - a very mild case with the only symptoms, COVID toes (one on each foot), itchy rash on chest and loss of taste. I was doing large units of D per day at the time with quercetin, zinc, D, magnesium, etc, etc - I take EVERYTHING. And in the midst of all, my tinnitus got worse and has remained so. And off and on vertigo.. I just began some Chinese herbs supposedly to help ears including tinnitus. It is not fun. The ability to taste has been slow in returning but it is improving but this tinnitus is worse.

People report getting and having tinnitus from the day when a new electric meter was installed on their home. It seems once you have it it remains as I am one of those people. Of course if you don't know what to look for, you don't know the cause. But a lot of fifth generation (5G) satellites are being launched into our earth's orbit since 2019 and business continues to add more owned by various companies to serve cell phones and the myriad of applications designed to run on the internet of things (IOT).

Tinnitus can be due to low thyroid/low Cu/Zn. The weaponized Corona virus hurt mitochondria/thyroid/used up Zn. Taking Zn/Mg/fish oil/Vit C/evening primrose oil/lecithin/Vit A/herbs onion/mushrooms/Vit D3/sunlight may help the immune system.
