My husband and I are not taking the shot. We live in the southeastern U.S. Our daughter and family live in Germany now. Her husband works for the army. They have a 3 month old and a 3 year old..our precious grandchildren. My daughter have had the jab and are not pleased about our decision. She, however, has indicated indirectly that she is tired of the lockdowns...but she still perceives Covid as a threat. We've tried talking to her...to no avail. My husband was a Covid nurse...and saw through the hype...no one listens ..except our son and his wife (a Covid nurse since 3/2020)...they are not being jabbed either.... Hoping my daughter and family will get transferred back to the U.S. soon.

If you have a retirement home or apartment in Europe, I would think you qualify as a resident, therefore not a tourist.

What I find strange is the fact we were all warned about communism, Bolshevik CBC, (Central Bank Clan) and others. The CBC media beat us over the head for YEARS about the dangers of Bolshevist Communism.. Yet, with "coaching" from Bernard Baruch, Morganthau, Warburg et al, The snake Roosevelt BANKRUPTED us and caused the torture/death of more millions of Christians/Muslims to SAVE the literal beating heart of communism when he suckered us into the 2nd bankers' world war to SAVE the Soviet union - Then, oh so conveniently - within months, our COMMUNIST ally became our deadly foe and the CBC media began the chant about "evil communism" again for the bankers' "cold war".

Additionally, how many of you are aware that, in SPITE of these George Soros funded radical groups demanding monuments be torn down, we quietly allow a bronze statue of the biggest mass murderer in history, Lenin, (behind the OTHER mass-murderer, Stalin), to sit clean and peacefully in Washington state? Yet, I see so many shocked and terrified about the CBC's Communists taking over this dying empire...Hmm, why all this shock? All anyone had to do was set aside their obscene love for political correctness, work your way 'round the CBC's "media" and the horrendous facts were and still are right before your eyes.Fact is, the most hated human being on the planet, thanks to CBC's Hollywood and Media, warned the west in DETAIL and it was attacked/ignored;

Houndjog - I think you will be able to travel with a negative test. You might have to quarantine as well, but if you have a holiday home there that would be possible, although inconvenient! I am in the same situation, as I have an apartment in France.

Once again, the wording in the media is misleading. President Macron, for example, has apparently said that the "special pass" could be part of the European certificate. '"The idea indeed is to, altogether, offer that to American citizens who decided to vaccinate or with a PCR test being negative'."

Did I really want to travel to Europe? Travel is already so unpleasant.

If a person reaches a certain age and does not have a home to go to I wonder about how they have lived their life. it seems to me that people who brag about constantly traveling for their amusement are either trying to prove something or running away from something.

I d not know if the Sputnik V vaccine is approved by the EU but his has the usual have to sleep it off side effects, achey all over and temperature. There are no other side effects at all, certainly no lasting ones and no long term ones. There are no rashes either. British jabs seem to cause rashes and shingles. One person who took Sputnik, did die, I am not sure of the details. Its efficacy is in practice, higher than the trials. Other nations have made it 97% efficient, the UK made it over 90% efficient. The UK is a competitor. It is in two doses and after 3 weeks to three months, you need the second dose. The longer duration in between doses is supposed to be better. The first dose and the second one use different human adenoviruses, with inserts of the covid spike. Germany has ordered the Sputnik V. In Russia is is readily available but Russia is not a nation which has ever been fussed about taking vaccines. Cases are falling there, the death rate from covid is not high and those in the cities seem to have 50% herd immunity.
