Glyphosate is a problem chemical in high amounts that causes fatty liver disease and obesity due to it displacing the amino acid glycine. Glyphosate is very toxic to intestinal symbiotic bacteria causes depression and increases covid mortality by raising inflammation cytokines. Even worse, Bill Gates is trying to force his foods down our throats by trying to ban animal husbandry in Oregon and Colorado through legislation (Oregon's IP13 bill) which criminalizes it as sexual abuse of animals.

By that, I mean, not only those who tend to be forgotten about, but also one of the largest social complexes. That is, our prisons. There are some admirable prisons and even those that offer selective tours of their facilities. They are proud of what they do and want taxpayers to see how the money is being spent. However, many prisons feed prisoners the worst kind of garbage. Many farmers would not feed this kind of crap to their livestock. There is no reason for this except, possibly, lucrative contracts with the food industry.

When giving prisoners metal tools, there is risk. However, I think even a substantial segment of prisoners would support prison gardens if they knew they would benefit from better meals. If the military can provide security for many items, it should be possible to secure tools and account for them in prisons. There are procedures for such things. By engaging prisoners in productive work, it would cut down on acts of aggression that come simply from sitting in a cell all day under artificial lighting, being bored and not having much to do. Also, reduce costs to tax-payers.

Many prisons have their own bakeries, so it is not too far-fetched to make other kinds of food from scratch. Foods need not be expensive. There should definitely be big bowls of hearty vegetable soups on the menu. Not canned, prepackaged or from processed ingredients, but made fresh in the prison kitchens. Even freshly-cooked beans and rice can be a gourmet meal with a fresh salad.

Prison crews could glean fields. Once we were asked to host a group of ex-felons who organized to glean and improve their lives. They were clean, responsible, courteous and good workers. They supervised themselves. It is very difficult to rehabilitate the mind and spirit when the body is toxic, malnourished and prisoners feel no one cares about them.
