By continuing the mask policy, they are forcing the children to breathe “the

re: Florida School Girl Owns Her Local School Board

I signed up for an account just to respond to these comments. I am disheartened by the many negative comments towards djih. This individual took the time to applaud a young girl for standing up for what she believes is right, and had the courage to share what measures they do for their family that they feel is best for them (masks and hand sanitizing) despite it being different from what many on here do.

Why can’t we encourage an individual to make the choices they feel is best for their family while still encouraging them to do their research on the information available and then respect their right to make the choice they do? Many I know are vaccinated and believe they did what is best for them, but they also don’t have the interest in digging further into the information that is out there and available. And I support their choice to make their own decision, even if it appears to be the wrong one. It is the same with religion- many choose to believe what they do with little to no research on whether their beliefs are right. We should respect djih in the same way. Good for you djih to be part of this group and be informed.

Smart cookie that little girl! Feel sad and sorry for the children of dgih101--using so much of the hand sanitizer in itself is harmful--and no matter how many times a day your change your mask--you are still breathing in the same air that you exhale!

I can't even imagine how difficult learning and socializing (or lack thereof) has been for them throughout this period. As written before, this will have lasting negative effects on them in every way imaginable ...

I myself, require my children to wear masks to school. They don't mind and understand fully why they wear them. They are not in fear but also understand that if they take care of themselves by washing their hands and face, changing their mask half way through the day, and using hand sanitizer several times a day when necessary, they do not have to worry about catching covid-19 or much of anything else. So I disagree with her request but am amazed by her strength and drive.
