This is a much longer term trend. The pandemic has highlighted the falling birth rates but it has been going on for a long time. Look at world population and available resources - maybe the move toward declining population is a natural response to having a population that is outrunning our resources - or will if we don't smarten up and live within the means of the planet to support our population.

An interesting area of study would be planning and managing within a declining population - all our models (and ways of thinking) are based on a model of growth of absolutely everything - well that is about to change. So instead of trying to lure people away from other countries maybe we need to look at planning with a declining population. Japan is already facing some of these issues, but I am not able to find out much information on how they are doing long term planning (lack of ability to read any other language but English).

We are obsessed with our immediate surrounding (and who could blame us), but the world is shifting under our feet and we are not that aware of the consequences. I am sure if embrace reality we will make a better future. I suspect that hiding you head in the sand and longing for the past will create a more abrupt change - but that change is coming whether you like it or not. I view this current obsession with blurring sexual roles as a response to a society that will not need the same level of population growth - maybe this movement is noting but a biological adaptation to the situation we as a species face.

There are a lot of reasons for this. One I haven't seen mentioned is the obesity epidemic. Seems to me as people of either sex get fatter and fatter they'd have, on average, less and less sex.

For starters who would want to bring a child into this world at this time? Secondly, how are the young supposed to get together to form relationships that might lead to family formation in this current anti human mandated climate? Third, with the divorce rate and those laws biased towards women (80% of divorces are instigated by the woman), with cash and prizes awarded accordingly, marriage is just a very bad option for men and they know it. Relations between men and women are at an all time low and it has little to do with the girl power movement other than many women developing unrealistic expectations in what they expect from a male life partner. The manosphere didn't come about because of nothing with many men now deciding to live their lives as free from unnecessary complications as possible....this would include women. Babies are not produced in such a climate other than by a minority of men that women find irresistible and these men do not commit pregnancy or not. Anyway what does it matter if the numbers go down to other than those who's bread is buttered by a growing birth rate?

I hope my tax dollars don't get spent on studies like this. If the goal is to get people to be intimate, maybe the authorities should end masks and lockdowns?

I don't suppose environmental xenoestrogens help the situation either... resulting in estrogenized males who either have no interest or ability to procreate. And what about the socially-impaired who only communicate via their cell phones? No schools, churches or social centers open to for opposite sexes to meet each other.

5G is looming towards the mass completion date.....and when 5G is running 100%.....the first thing to die will be animals.....animals like cows and beef.....as most are only kept alive now with antibiotics and `hormones ...and when the beef start to drop.....there is the warning Gates or one his buddies states .. people will start to eat Fake meat and enjoy it.........mostly because that all theer will be left..fish?? mostly farmed as they have polluted the oceans so bad most the fish is nearly toxic..chickens? we again most are fed chemicals and soy proteins..GMOed soy.......grains spiced with Glysophates......and GMOed.so the chickens you eat today are feed GMOed unknown chemically enhanced feeds.so Your eating a chemically altered meat or eggs.. MMMMM....bacon n eggs is now like nibbling on a chemistry set....and lunch....MMMMMM fake hamburger.. laced with seed oils and glyphosate ...and whatever antibiotic the maybe cow was fed...if the fake meat is flavourized with beef bloods or pink slime....MMMMM and the water is 5ppm fluorine...and the faked 'soap' bars you rubbed all over you body..laced with sodium lorual sulfate and a bunch other toxics...and the bed you sleep in .more chemical garbage..all this and more make YOU WEAK and susceptible to the radiation from 5G Towers...

This is just Common sense....like connecting the dots.. But who am I??? Just n Old man hanging out on My Mountain...watching...........and I got a lot of weeds pulled :P

Abortion on demand, BPA in plastics which affects sperm count, pesticides in our environment, (and now an experimental gene therapy touted as a vaccine) also account for low birth rates. Last year, 63 million babies were aborted...in the USA alone! Imagine how much better the world would be if we did not murder our children, poison our environment, or put harmful chemicals into our body purposefully!

They should have allowed 2 kids to prevent abortion in China...then the guys would have someone to marry. 2 kids is replacement level. Vaccines...Gardasil may cause teens to have menopause and the Corona virus vaccine may not let the Placenta stay and cause miscarriages and may lower sperm and much more.
