The AHA's recommendations shown in the article do not include any advice about getting one's exercise outdoors under the sun. Most people who read it are likely to use indoor exercise equipment such as treadmills and exercycles. Many hospitals have exercise rooms where patients exercise indoors under artificial light. These are often very modern, impressive structures built with the big profits hospitals rake in from the government healthcare insurance programs, Medicare and Medicaid.
