I think the antibodies detected may be from short-lived, more acute immune responses. The key to our defense may lie more in the ability of innate immune system to remember and then produce antibodies? I am no expert so I may be offtrack.

So far, these states are going door-to-door to vaccinate people—OR, CO, NC, CA. More will soon follow. People need to be informed. The purpose it to collect and format data. Anything you say can be used against you. I don’t like the looks of what is going on in Canada or the lockdowns in Europe, either. It is good to sign up with various govt agencies and be on their email lists to keep informed. Apparently, Washington State accidentally sent out an email to people not in government. I received this correction.

“COVID-19 VACCINE INITIATIVE EVENT WITH GOV. INSLEE AND DR. SHAH, FRIDAY JULY 16 - Please forgive the confusion on this messaging. While this particular message was originally intended for our board, commission, and committee members, we are also aware that this invitation has been sent to health care providers. We want to encourage all interested parties to join…” - covidvaccine@doh.wa.gov - Power of Providers Initiative (wa.gov) - This was an absolutely chilling and totally biased presentation. It is obvious that a 100% vax rate will be pursued with people contacted not only door-to-door, but in many other ways. (The chart showed 100%.) All health care providers are all strongly encouraged to participate. All are being pressured to ask patients if they have been vaccinated and record this information. The question was raised, “How do we account for resistance and firmly held (beliefs)?...” Words are put into the mouths of practitioners telling them how to speak to and convince resisters. There is no respect for the individual or patient’s rights. Everyone is considered a ward of the state to be mass-medicated with a one-size-fits-all drug.

-continued-

Data are becoming available that shed light on longer-term aspects of the human immune response to coronavirus infection. One component of the defence response is the production of antibodies that target viral proteins (red line). During the initial, acute phase of the immune response, antibody levels peak rapidly; this peak is generated by short-lived immune cells called plasma cells. Turner et al.1 present clinical evidence, from people who have had COVID-19, that long-lived, memory plasma cells that produce antibodies are generated in the bone marrow. These cells provide long-term antibody production that offers stable protection at a level of 10–20% of that during the acute phase (blue line). Memory plasma cells are a cell type that can be maintained for many years, if not a lifetime8. Wang et al.2 have characterized antibody responses at between six months and a year in people who have been infected with SARS-CoV-2; their results also provide evidence for the generation of immunological memory." June 21,2021

I'm wondering why if this is true do some people who’ve had antibodies after covid, no longer have antibodies when retested many months later.
