As someone mentioned, they are already doing this as we've seen in the communications between FB and the White House. This law would just make it legal for them to do what they are already doing. The only solution is to repeal Section 230, and allow full freedom of speech regardless of the content. However, that also creates problems with allowing pornography, which is already so easily accessible to impressionable children as there are no age safeguards by law, if not by design. Children are the real casualties of the internet.

Yes, now, the local police, if the police observe some type of crime, but the people committing the crime are of a certain characteristic, the police will take into account the community behavior, sometimes the police will just ignore and let be, don’t need to be accused of targeting. So, litter, noise, quality of life infractions are not enforced, so you end up paying more for rent, to live in an area where it is peaceful enough to think and sleep. But it is perfectly ok to accuse someone of spreading false communication, if the information puts some smelly people in a bad light. A real big double standard. United States, America, where is FREE SPEECH? FREE SPEECH IS GONE, and that means decline.

It looks like Dr. Mercola - along with the other eleven "disinformers" - has a good grounds for a defamation lawsuit against the CCDH and the WSJ. Given that one of the eleven is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. paying for legal services shouldn't be an issue. If I was Dr. Mercola, I would seriously think about it. However, it may increase the danger of criminal actions against him. Apparently, Dr. Mercola identifies as a conservative. If I was him, I would consider taking advantage of the Second Amendment.

Depending on which sites are defined as social media, it would be good to get sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram out of your life completely so hopefully this will hasten their demise. They already exert their own censorship in the minds of their followers as if information is deemed false by them it must be ‘misinformation’. Other sites such as Bitchute provide valuable alternative platforms to counteracting the official narrative and spreading the truth about the deep state’s war against humanity. Our ersatz “governments” have got a bad case of ad hoc legal fever as this is their only way of enforcing their agenda.

This new law gives the government the ability to censor without having a hand in it. So far, they've been the heavy hand pushing for censorship of anything Covid related that doesn't meet the view they're pushing. With this law, these social media sites will be forced to police every post or be fined or shut down. The government wants social media to do law enforcement's job. The government can already search on them for terrorists. Since Facebook and Twitter have already buckled under, this law's purpose is to chain the newer sites like MeWe, BitChute, etc.
