Medical researchers have been using the percentage of increase/decrease statistical technique to make doubtful results look important/significant for decades. Whenever you see something about increased or decreased risk of some disease, be suspicious. Not so surprising that they would use it again to get Covid vaccines approved for emergency use, so they could cash in on the pandemic. Despicable but not surprising.
