First of all more than 90% of Canadian truckers are vaccinated and their association of Truckers did not support this illegal occupation. Secondly, the convoy that came to Ottawa and Parked illegally for more than 3 weeks, disrupted the lives of citizens to the point that many had to leave, many were verbally harassed as they tried to shop or visit their doctor, most small businesses were forced to close down just as they had reopened after being shut down for months by covid. People in the convoy behaved like hooligans deficating and urinating in the streets and desiccating our the war memorial. </p> <p>Many in this convoy brought their children and used them as shields to resist obeying the law. They turned what could have been a lawful peaceful protest into a three ring circus of disruption and mind boggling behaviour. What sympathy they might have had in the beginning was quickly lost and they were forced to leave in disgrace.
