We should minimise/avoid all direct use of any Google service, as much as possible, e.g. I use Aurora Store for getting some Android apps, and micro-G as a replacement for Android Services on my Android devices. Also beware of using GPS functionality on any device supporting internet access, with internet access enabled, including mobile data, because more devices are hardwired to use one of the few GPS satellite listing services [1], the main one being Google! [1] GPS satellite list services speeds up the initial fix time for GPS, which can otherwise take a couple of minutes to get the initial fix.</p>
