Most of these stores will not take action against the thieves unless the theft is over $400. It seems to me that anything under $400 overtime can add up into the millions fast. I suspect that the thieves catch on fast and will keep their robbery under $400, in which keeps them under the radar. This was told to me by a Walmart employee that I know, which seems to make sense. I know that any theft by a US postal Service employee, no matter how small, will lead to severe prosecutions with limits to the law. This helps keep postal employees honest. Fines and Federal Jail time are on the table.

Millions of U.S. tax paying dollars have been laundry out of Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Ukraine. It seems wars are very profitable for whomever the incumbent party that is in office.

The problem with Target, is they are headquartered in Minneapolis and they didn't prosecute anybody during the riots. So people get the idea that it is okay to steal from Target. I grew up shopping at Target when they had a handful of stores in the Twin Cities, but I have a hard time shopping there now because of the social and political stances they have taken.

Tax evasion by the wealthy costs the U.S. treasury $163 billion a year. Focusing on petty crime is a classic example of demonizing the poor and idolizing the rich. The Walton family heirs of WalMart never worked a job in their lives and are among the wealthiest people in the world.

Looting is encouraged and unpunished in California. Remove California from the statistics and theft in the 49 other states may actually be decreasing.

Is this not another manifestation of the breakdown of society predicted (i.e. planned) as part of the globalist agenda to destroy civilisation? It’s the next step towards dependence on the elite to “rescue” us and contain us within “smart” cities where we have no rights, no property and no freedom. How can we complain about theft from stores when big Pharma, big Bank, big Tech has been shoplifting world wealth on a global scale through the financial mafia for decades? How can we complain when governments tax our earnings to pay for artificially manipulated wars leading to food and fuel shortages and massive price hikes leaving families and children cold and hungry in damp, mouldy homes?

The supermarket was an American invention imported into Europe in the 1960’s. It did not exist before then and food shopping was a local affair for locally produced foods, served to you by the shopkeeper. While everything you need to buy under one roof has obvious advantages, the display of goods favours the supermarket, not the shopper; if closed circuit TV and facial recognition cameras are a necessary and expensive overhead, which makes the system work, there is little sympathy left for this business model. Small theft is punished, while big theft is excused and encouraged. Nothing to see here, move on.
