DeSantis has his share of nay sayers. However, there are 49 other governors who would better serve us all if they leaned a little in more in the direction of what Ron DeSantis is doing and saying. I would much rather have a Governor like DeSantis saying what he does about the Covid protocol, than someone like Newsome in California, or Pritzker in Illinois.

Come on Mercola staff, fix this misleading headline, that we have to click on to get what's accurate! Put in the word MANDATES will be banned, NOT the Covid shot will be banned.

Most of us Floridians absolutely LOVE this man and appreciate EVERYTHING he has done for us and our children. He is the ONLY reason I was able to work as a registered nurse without the shot. I would have chosen my life over the job and the shot, but it sure is nice to have it all!!! In the paperwork that I had to sign in order to keep working without the shot, it said that it is my religious belief and that no one has a right to question my religion and that a deeply held personal belief is the same as a religious one. (Basically what it said - I am paraphrasing here).

He is a man of integrity and we love him! I do know that there was something signed that was questionable, but I realize that sometimes you have to agree to let in some crap in order to move forward. And I believe he is working to fix that crap now. All I know is that I was protected by an elected government official FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. I love him and wish the best for him and his beautiful family. We Floridians are proud of our HONORABLE GOVERNOR, Ron DeSantis.

Im a CA transplant to FL, sad it took this long to ban the clot shot but better late than never. Even sadder is to mandate an experiment, Ive literally seen people die from the clot shot and we all know it does NOT prevent anything much less covid. Hoping for FL to withdraw from the rest of the country and stand on its own two feet but that may be hoping for too much. No one needs the Phed Gubmnt, they need us as residual ATM's for their garbage inhumane plans while we all pay to be obliterated by them. Sick and evil world we live in.

You may want to actually read the law he put in place: http://laws.flrules.org/2021/8 It was signed on May 3, 2021! Page 21 - 4. Ordering an individual to be examined, tested, vaccinated, treated, isolated, or quarantined for communicable diseases that have significant morbidity or mortality and present a severe danger to public health. Individuals who are unable or unwilling to be examined, tested, vaccinated, or treated for reasons of health, religion, or conscience may be subjected to isolation or quarantine. a. Examination, testing, vaccination, or treatment may be performed by any qualified person authorized by the State Health Officer. b. If the individual poses a danger to the public health, the State Health Officer may subject the individual to isolation or quarantine.

If there is no practical method to isolate or quarantine the individual, the State Health Officer may use any means necessary to vaccinate or treat the individual. c. Any order of the State Health Officer given to effectuate this paragraph is shall be immediately enforceable by a law enforcement officer under s. 381.0012 Read the whole law - talk is cheap. What he says means nothing if he doesn't change the law he put in place. Always do your homework, not just listen to what the news and politicians say. Almost sounds like Australia doesn't it?

The article I read indicated DeSantis wanted to ban mask and vax mandates. You would still have the option to wear a mask or get the jab.

This article has the title " DeSantis moves to permanently ban covid shots..." but if you follow the link to the CNN article , the title there is "DeSantis pushes to permanently ban covid 19 mandates..." . That's quite a different thing . It should be corrected.
