A very smart blogger recently commented on a different forum: (Words to this effect) the Constitution never gave authority to govern medicine, and there needs to be a separation of medicine from state. As we all know secrecy is a tenet of democracy. How else can government protect us if it cannot keep secrets from us? They are not protecting us they are protecting corporations and their criminal CEOs you say? I did not learn that at university. The University I went to was Cal. They would not keep secrets from us would they? After all they receive public funding to run the nuclear weapons design labs.

If you received taxpayer money at a university, there shouldn't be an expectation of privacy. UNC's request is only to circle the wagon's knowing Baric was conducting unethical gene-splicing techniques in order to hide sources.

“We don’t really know why UNC is trying to keep these Baric documents secret, even though there is worldwide interest in them,” USRTK said in a Headline USA news story. “We do know that Ralph Baric was a close collaborator with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. We also know that Baric was on the DARPA DEFUSE proposal, which in retrospect reads something like a how-to guide for creating SARS-CoV-2.” DUH! Could it actually be that they have something to HIDE???
