Try Springtime Inc.'s garlic products. They make them for humans, horses, dogs. Some people even use them on their cats for fleas, although cats supposedly are allergic to garlic. I give the powdered garlic to my horses year round. Not only do insects leave them alone, including horse flies and mosquitoes, etc. But it healed a persistent proud flesh wound on the hock of one of my horses after I gave up on allopathic approaches (re-injury, no less!). Stay away from all these poisons. The garlic works by emitting a faint garlic smell from your skin which insects do not like. Or they can't smell your blood. Either way, it works. Pretty sure it works on ticks, too.

I use Mercola's BUG SPRAY. If it works in Texas in the summertime, it should work anywhere anytime!

So would this include permethrins? (Which I spray on my shoes and pant legs to avoid the ticks which will certainly kill me with government war fare induced Lyme).
