Governor DeSantis always gives me that "Captain Kirk is on the bridge and everything's going to be okay" feeling, and I'd love to see him become our president. Stuck in the WA state cultural revolution, I would rejoice in the sanity of a state like FL. God bless and protect all our freedom fighters, and help each of us to do our part.

This would throw the crazy world of American politics into quite a loop. How does this sound? What if a democrat and a republican teamed up as running mates? That has never happened. But as they say, there’s always a first time. What if Governor Ron and Robert Kennedy teamed up as running mates ? You could have DeSantis running for president, and Robert Kennedy as vice president. Or flip that around. A concept like that just might break up the corruption that seems to be snowballing in both parties.

I wish this applied to me in a professional realm. I have turned down work that I would love to do but it requires that I wear a mask. BUT THANK YOU HONORABLE GOVERNOR DESANTIS FOR PROTECTING US IN PUBLIC PLACES!!!! And protecting our kids' ability to BREATHE. This man is amazing and we love him! Florida's children will fare better than any other state's kids. I have never been so proud to be a Floridian. When I get down and out about the world, all I need to feel better is to hear something like this and remember that we DO have a knight in shining armor protecting us!

I too give Desantis an A+ for vaccine mandates and opposition to shutting down the economy. Also "some" of his legislation that affects school education re: gays........................................................................................................................................................................... However I give him an F in supporting women's rights on abortion (freedom of personal choice), attacking Disneyworld on freedom of expression re: gay rights, and his attitude towards major polluters. I also don't think the Second Amendment should be used to allow the purchase of assault weapons --since history shows no one wants to prevent mentally ill people from obtaining firearms..............................................................................................

Assault weapons kill and seriously main 6X more people than conventional firearms. The second group weighs more heavily for me -- and I think it will be more difficult to mandate another pandemic emergency: Some of the sheep are at least suspicious now. Why not just vote for Robert Kennedy?

DeSantis is my choice over Trump. However, DeSantis needs to address international issues like China and Russia. Vivek R is not experienced with the swamp but he is very complimentary and a great speaker comparable to Obama.
