It is important to find a store with sellers who know/understand what they sell and what YOU need. Avoid stores who can't tell you anything about the technical data and the environmental impact. Avoid those who can only tell you about the colours, the fashion and who only care about pushing sales. Its also up to you to support a good store with good products (even on sale or second hand) instead of buying the latest throwaway fashion online just because it was cheap and you liked the pretty picture. It starts with the buyer having a lucid caring mind. Regarding pollution, if in doubt, choose natural materials instead of the latest hype in synthetic materials, whose true impact is never really known, let alone disclosed.

Some are name brand like GoreTex and others are lower priced competitors. Do I avoid using them? Just not lick them? Can I identify some among them that are safe or safer? ... perhaps with a solid film of Teflon on the fabric that doesn't migrate and stays put? RonaldHLevine4548@yahoo.com

The HIGHER priority should be getting neurotoxic, bone-brittling, cellular-degrading fluoride out of our drinking water. We spend money to make clean water, then dump a toxin into it.... purposefully! This creates a far higher fluoride load in your body than the de minimus amounts from PFAS (of all varieties, longer carbon chain PFAS being, generally more toxic due to DUH more fluoride). -and I stopped patronizing ***'s a while ago.

PFAS are endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), aka gender-benders. Seen anyone lately that looks to be suffering from gender dysphoria? PFAS are toxic like nuclear waste. Bravo ***'s Sporting Goods! No one and no corporation is perfect, but I appreciate you for removing PFAS from your clothing.

(insert sarcastic emoji if one exists). Remember when they decided that BPA was bad? So now they proudly advertise "BPA FREE." What they don't tell you is that BPL or BPQ or BP(insert your letter of choice) is just as bad. Wonder what new chemical they will replace the old one with and how long it will take for the masses to recognize it is just as bad,

Why, because Dyck's has taken an anti-Second Amendment (2A) stance for quite a few years now. I have come to realize that being anti-2A can be a bellwether indicator of much obtrusive big government nonsense that we read so much about here on Mercola.com articles of false and misleading health politics with big pharma corporatists and big government, and many other Constitutional Bill-of-Rights issues. rehack.com/.../springfield-armory-controversy ~~ en.wikipedia.org/.../Corporatism ~~~ blog.k-var.com/.../5862 ~~~ duckduckgo.com
