&lt;p&gt;i had peanut allergies, since childhood. used to be get severe headache that would last one day or more, after eating just a few peanuts. happy to report that my peanut allergy is almost gone after being on probiotics for few months now. though i must admit, was never regular at taking the probiotic caps, but rather gulped it down , whenever i remembered, still i don&amp;#39;t seem to be now effected by peanuts. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;offcourse i still believe that completely staying off from the food that you are allergic to will not help in the long run. taking small micro challenges, eating smaller portions of the food that you are allergic to, every once in a while, helps the body to overcome the allergy faster.&lt;/p&gt;
