Pretty much all of the CBD oil that people are talking about is the hemp derived since it is the one available in most states. It has a small amount of thc but is below the allowed amount of .3% as per the 2014 farm bill. I think it is important to distinguish between the marijuana cbd and the hemp cbd. Articles like this one that just start talking about cbd from marijuana are somewhat misleading to people who only think it comes from marijuana. I love you Dr. Mercola though!
