People could ostensibly smoke in their homes without harming anyone. Not only is THE study that has vilified tobacco (the second hand smoke one done in the 90s) been debunked by its own people recently, but non-smokers already have all the banning of tobacco they need. Would you like to REALLY improve everyone's health? Ban cars! Let's be honest - the toxins that come out of every single car in every single city (including Hawaii) across the entire world is FAR more carcinogenic and ubiquitous than tobacco smoke, but oh, NO problem. Drive your cars wherever you want with no limits, filling MY air (I'm an avid cyclist) with crap. Where are MY "freedoms" in that process? Nowhere to be found. At the end of the day, I'd rather be locked in a garage with a bunch of smokers than one running car.

I hate cigarettes, but this is as silly as prohibition. If they can prohibit cigarettes, why can't alcohol be prohibited? Alcohol is addictive and more harmful. I think they should ban e-cigs and all forms of tobacco if they ban cigs, to be fair. But I really think it should only be banned in public places, like nudity.
