It provides information on the dosage ( even for babies under 6 months), general care, types of vitamin C to use, what it is, diagnosis etc. "If they are coughing until they are purple, or gasping, then your doses are much too small or infrequent. Bump them right up to 375mg per kg of body weight over the waking hours, as a starting dose, and know that you might need still need much more."

One thing that helped my kids when they had whooping cough was to hold them out in the fresh night air or in front of the freezer. It was very soothing to them in the midst of the coughing fits. Thyme essential oil in a diffuser in a "breathing tent" was also valuable. By the way....some of the kids had been vaccinated when they were younger, others had not. There were some from each "category" who contracted whooping cough. At the same time, some of the kids never got it! We homeschool so they were all equally exposed to the initial "carrier." I would never give the pertussis vaccination. The doctor who checked a couple of our children did not believe that it was whooping cough as she had treated an epidemic in an elementary school. Their symptoms were visible in the daytime, whereas all of my children seemed fine all day, but as soon as the sun set....all the coughing and throwing up began. Please note what the doctor told me about the school epidemic...ALL those children had been vaccinated!!!
