You’re probably experiencing heartburn . Also known as acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or peptic ulcer disease, heartburn

re: 12 Reasons Why You Have Heartburn

I am not normally a coffee drinker because I cannot tolerate "American" coffee. I am fond of Ethiopean, what we used to call "Wild Ethiopean" when I lived in Spain. Not sure it is actually wild (?), but it was good. Still, I could not drink a lot of it and not straight. It was the custom to cut it with cream and/or cognac. I used to use sugar, but now prefer stevia. I could also drink the Cuban coffee (café doble). American coffee would attack my stomach like battery acid, though. I think the crap got shipped to America because consumers did not know the difference.

I have since received some excellent and expensive cold-brewed organic coffee. It was discarded by poor people in a food box they received. (I find the junk food is consumed immediately and organic food often discarded. So, it is always fun to get these expensive "treats".) This coffee is totally not in my budget, so I am wondering how I can replenish it. So good with coconut milk! I prefer it cold, like a latte and will put it in a shaker jar until it is foamy.
