The growers had to drill down to 1000ft, depleting the water so that local people don't have water to drink and have to pay for water delivered to them. All because avocado is so healthy. I'm sure its not all farmers, but for now I'm going to reduce my avocado consumption. I know it won't help much because its such a big fad and people are so addicted to it now.

I have begin to eat more grassfinished and pasture raised animals, greatly reduced my purchase of fruit and vegetables from the stores, and eating plants more from my garden. I do want to support farmers, but quality of foods from the super market just get worse every year, including the 'organic' ones.
