Dr Mercola. I don't understand the hype given to this virus. Just like other illnesses that affect people with compromised health, this virus is no different. How is this virus different to influenza? Don't worry though, I'm sure there's a vaccine being made as I write.

Here is a thought for everyone, Most of our "Stuff" comes from the country where this virus was unleashed.

So cough and sneeze on our goods or the hands that transport and manufacture our "stuff" eventually make our was to us. Think about that.

But what if it is genetically engineered? How do you protect yourself then... And no, I am not a conspiracy theory person. However, they have not been transparent about this and the numbers are much, much higher than they are reporting. Why are they refusing the help of the CDC? I would think that they would want all the help that they can get. If they are going to refuse our help then they should not be permitted to enter into our country.

bbc news has been following this ever expanding story closely here: www.bbc.com/.../world-asia-china-51254523 - updates nearly every 5 hrs or so. Numbers of those affected listed above have grown, and are expected to grow faster. One place they mentioned each sick person is affecting from 1.4 to 2.3 other people, so do your own math.

Nobody seems focusing on immune systems of older, primarily rice eaters; as it seems this virus hits about 25% of its victims with lesser symptoms of a bad cold. Assuming these are the young and healthy among their general populace.

It is my understanding, Novavax is expected to have a vaccine to protect against this deadly virus, within about a three month period of time.

Essential Oils:

Thyme, Thymus vulgaris

So, what are the 5 airports?

The truth is that, there is no way to quarantine 36 million people. I am sure there is a thriving black market in China and some of these people have ways of getting in and out of Wuhan. I have not observed that the hospitals have isolation units or even adequate basic supplies. When people run out of food and medicine, there may be riots and break outs. Even for things like insulin unless the govt brings in the necessities of life. However, the people who deliver goods will be exposed and have the potential to also become vectors of disease unless they are forced to remain behind.

The Chinese say they will have a 100-bed hospital built by the end of the first week of Feb. I don't see how this can be more than a field hospital, even with modular units. Will patients be put in isolation. Even 1000 beds may not be enough.

I think the best option at this time might be homeopathy even though this would require making a new remedy. Homeopathy was around 98% effective during the 1918 flu epidemic. If you are going to throw the kitchen sink at it, I suggest also taking a look at nano-colloidal silver and lomatium. This may also be a good time for saunas.

Just a hunch. I suspect many of the hospital workers sent their children to live with other families for the duration as they know their exposure risk is high.

This reminds me of the creepy feeling I get whenever I visit a hospital. I want to stop at the nearest location after I leave and scrub my hands well, even if it is a filthy gas station. Many hospitals prescribe antibiotics prophylactically because they know hospitals are breeding grounds for infection and the risk is high.

We have not seen a population-decimating epidemic in a century. Even the flu epidemic of 1918 was not as severe as many earlier epidemics. Isolation worked best for smallpox.

This is only one example of a SHTF scenario. Is your family prepared to be isolated and self-sufficient for even several months?
