&lt;p&gt;Plug a timer in instead , set it to come on when you will want up, or a few minutes earlier. To the timer plug in a bright light to come on, beside you be good.   So when the timer hits your time, the light comes on , it might wake you up more pleasantly than a noise will.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; You may want to have it set for 5 minutes before the Alarm till it starts working for you.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Some people wake their children up by turning on the light in their room, instead of yelling to get up.&lt;/p&gt;
</description></item><item><title>re: Can Your Alarm Tone Affect Your Energy Level?</title><link>https://blogs.mercola.com:443/sites/vitalvotes/archive/2020/02/06/can-your-alarm-tone-affect-your-energy-level.aspx?ShowAllComments=True#980798</link><pubDate>2/6/2020 1:28:52 AM</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">24451277-a5aa-4add-96dc-64081bfd86fa:980798</guid><dc:creator>Almond</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;I need a metal clanger alarm. &amp;nbsp;I sleep with the covers up to my ears and do not hear the electronic bee-beep alarms. &amp;nbsp;I went thru a lot of them (made in China) as they wore out so easily. &amp;nbsp;Then, my husband found an older one in a second hand store that has been working well for several years now. &amp;nbsp;I also need to have a robe within reach as crawling out of a warm bed into cold air is such a shock to my system. &amp;nbsp;It does not feel that cold once I am up for a while, but those first few minutes are terrible. &amp;nbsp;In summer, I awake with the sun. &amp;nbsp;I am not too hard on myself if I sleep in a bit longer on dark winter days as I believe this is a natural cycle. &amp;nbsp;I try to get more rest over the winter.&lt;/p&gt;
