In India, walking barefoot was a norm in the pre- independence days, possibly because of economic conditions then. Off late, I have observed people walking barefoot on lawns( one patient complained that he developed backache after doing that, which I refused to believe) and some walking backwards. After reading this article, I have realised the significance of these grounding measure and walking backwards. I aim to give it a try.&lt;/p&gt;
