I think this whole fear mongering pandemic was brought on by those who hate Trump. It is there last hope to have people blame him and lose in the upcoming election. I have not spoken to a person yet who believes all the doom and gloom or thinks we need to destroy our economy and give up our rights to end it. I am sure glad Hillary is not president but then again if she was they probably would not have built it up like they did or she would have used to obtain more government power.

There are those of us who can clearly discern that there is much more to the current "global pandemic event" than meets the eye. Crisis events such as the one currently transpiring are "never wasted" and have been historically used by the corporate globalist entities to leverage their desired agendas into full fruition. I do not fear the virus, but am certainly apprehensive about what will likely follow.

Worldwide there are 1.7 million deaths EVERY YEAR from tuberculosis. This is a communicable disease caused by the mycobacterium tuberculosis, not a virus. It can move fast among the population and kill quickly. This was called galloping consumption in years past. Yet there is no pandemic declared and no global shutdown.

Mention was made here that there are many deaths every year due to the flu some 23,000 per year, varying between 12,000 - 60,000 every year, but no declared pandemic. The flu death numbers may be inflated by the CDC to promote the worthless dangerous flu vaccine.

From Dr. Barbara Starfield, MD, MPH, in JAMA, July 26, 2000, “Is US Health Really the Best in the World?”, there are 12,000 deaths every year from unnecessary surgeries; 7,000 deaths/year from medication errors in hospitals; 20,000 deaths/year from other deaths in hospitals; 80,000 deaths/year from nosocomial infections in hospitals; and 106,000 deaths/year from non-error adverse effects of properly prescribed and consumed medications. The Wall Street Journal article is interesting and clear. A couple of days ago, a paper with similar modelling was published by Oxford University. www.dropbox.com/.../Draft-COVID-19-Model%20 (13).pdf? Without widescale antibody testing, we simply can't know the position, and I think that the prudent course of action is to behave as if the worst predictions are accurate, whilst subjecting them to intelligent scrutiny and analysing data as it becomes available, and reacting to new findings fast.

If infection and immunity have built up on the scale predicted by both Oxford and Stamford, this tells us great things about our immune system. I think it indicates the power of supporting our immune system rather than relying solely on slow to develop, monopol;y-owned, expensive vaccines which may have short-lived efficacy (virus mutations...).

In relation to boosting immunity, I'd like to emphasis the vital role of good sleep in resisting virus (my own preoccupation). I have a couple ,of blog posts on my website on this, covering sleep /immunity and the Oxford study and its implications.

Part of the problem is that we do not have good data because many of the tests used are/were so flawed with false negatives and false positives. Only a fraction of people showing symptoms have been tested and many people are asymptomatic carriers.

I am observing so much truly ignorant behavior taking place in hospitals in the news--not even sterile procedure or isolation. Hospitals have the potential to become disease vectors, too. It makes me wonder why, as an older person (who has paid into Medicare!If treatment is not available, then Medicare is just another tax. Surprise--huh?), why I should bother going to a hospital if I am sick and treatment is denied to the elderly. It seems I might do just as well, or better, at home.

With all the news about the limited supply of disposable masks, I wonder why hospitals do not use higher watt UV-C lights to sterilize masks so staff can reuse them. It seems to be a perfectly obvious solution to me. Some sort of UV light should be in standard use in many hospitals. A good wand-like device, that would serve the purpose, should be available for purchase for around $500. A person using it would need to be trained in sterile procedure, too. I assume most hospitals have air exchange systems that are run past a UV light for disinfection nowadays. However, that does not eliminate all new viruses brought into the hospital or those coming off the bodies of patients.

While it's true that there are other health concerns that we shouldn't overlook, I'm still doing what I can to protect myself and others by social isolation. I also have a bit of sore throat. Hopefully, it's just a cold.

In terms of statistics, it may seem quite safe, but if we don't control it, it may no longer be true. With an estimated fatality rate of 3.4%, if everyone in the US catches it, we'd expect almost 11 million people! The danger also comes from the fact that it has a long incubation period, and it's contagious. I can imagine the possibility of allowing recovered individuals to go out if they develop permanent immunity to it.
