One of the biggest problems I am having at the moment is bureaucracy. So many govt offices are shut down, yet govt continues to demand completed forms and paperwork on the same schedule as before. (This is not a 2-way street.) It has reached the point of absurdity. In many cases, the paperwork that must be submitted is petty and irrational, serving absolutely no purpose except to harry the already oppressed citizen and remind them of the degree of control the govt has over their lives, even during a pandemic. The good news is that the pandemic is not so bad that govt has shut down, gone away completely and left us alone. So, I guess that is reason for hope in the continuance of the nation.

When dams break, flooding follows. Govt does not have anything they have not take away from taxpayers in the first place. What comes after the virus could be even worse. A depression. Inflation. Shortages due to business disruption and transportation. Convicts being turned loose... it is wise to be forewarned and prepared.

The best solution to any kind of problem is solving it and moving on. The longer it lingers, the more hopeless you feel. So, find something productive to do to help yourself. It will also keep you from focusing on worries.
