The last paragraph of Dr. Fauci's NEJM article indicates that there are going to be more infectious disease panics because there are always new pathogens that we don't know how to identify and deal with. Experts will have to study every new pathogen so that treatments can be designed and implemented for each one. Dr. Fauci, who has the soft-spoken demeanor of a kindly priest, is Trump's top infectious disease advisor.

Hi all,

Hope everyone is staying healthy. Dr. Fauci what a corrupt POS this guy is. He admits he has been working for 5 administrations... if this guy is not the EPITOME of the Deep State then I don’t know who is. Fauci said in an interview in 2017 that the Trump administration will have a “Surprise Outbreak” wait what?? He had taken the same position about H1N1, there were a lot of fishy things going on back then, just as there is now with more questions than answers. They need to reclassify this as a Plandemic, not pandemic. This is of concern as our economy, our jobs, our freedoms there is so much at stake here. I utter to think when 5G hits. This needs to stop!!

Thank you so much for that info. After watching Francis Boyle's youtube video I'm feel this is an experimental test to see how this virus affects humans. How did this virus get out of the lab, accident or intentional? People need to start contacting 60 Minutes and the networks to demand an end to this so-called 'pandemic'. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Dr. Mercola, you need to go back & re-listen to the podcast. Dr Fauci said he'd "like to see what percentage of people who come into the E.R. actually have COVID-19 - if it's 0.1%, ok; if it's 4% - time out, we really have a problem."

He did say 80% of people who get infected have a flu-like illness & recover w/o medical intervention.

However, if you have an underlying health condition & you get infected, you have a higher chance of having a complication.

There is no way that mortality rate is the same. That is nonsense. We don’t have refrigerator trucks at hospitals to handle the amount of dead bodies every year to handle the dead bodies from flu deaths like what is happening in NY right now as a result of excessive amount of deaths from Covid-19

Whether it's 0.1%, it's important to maintain hygiene as the fewer viral particles we're exposed to, the less likely we're to get infected. Research also suggests that the disease may be milder at lower infectious doses.
