What is it about so called experts that make them want to run to the "there is no evidence" garbage?

There was no evidence other solar systems existed, but, obviously, they do and always have. That some individual or for profit business hasn't investigated vitamin efficacy with regard to flu or cold does not mean they do not work.

Everyone should watch these 2 videos, but I think people are so tired of hearing about this supposed "virus" it's my guess no one will actually listen, and that's a shame because these 2 doctors from CA make a lot of sense about opening up the country again, how sheltering in place is making things worse, how the stay at home policy is causing people to beat each other up and all kinds of domestic violence because they're sooooo frustrated. People NEED to get back to work. The first vid is about 50 minutes and the second is about 12 minutes. Actually, the last 10 minutes or so of the 2nd video sums the whole thing up nicely. But everyone should hear what these two LEVEL-HEADED doctors have to say - - you'll like it!

Why wash your hands after putting groceries away IF THERE IS NO DANGER ???? I spray down all packages. open my mail outside and dispose of outer envelops, never touch money, and use a lot of hand sanitizer and regular soap. The FDA & WHO are on life support from Big Pharma, trust them not !

The end of this article says, "The best ways to protect yourself...thoroughly wash your hands when you get home and again after you put the groceries away." If the packaging can't be contaminated, then why is there a need to wash your hands after handling it to put groceries away?

Okay ... so what about fresh food from the store, such as greens, beets, carrots, etc. that are NOT in packaging? It would seem that if someone is handling these foods who has the virus and/or someone sneezes/coughs onto these foods, this would be a way of transmission.

And as mentioned, I honestly don't trust what the FDA says ... they are not a reliable source, and this is a novel Coronavirus we're dealing with.

That makes no sense. First they talk about food packaging and then say you cant get Covid19 by contaminated food. We’re not talking about the food itself, but the packaging and spreading the virus. Much has been made about spreading the virus from nonporous surfaces. Someone touches that plastic bag of lettuce that has the virus on their hands and then you pick it up 5 minutes later, touch your face and now you have the virus on your face. If the virus can live on non porous surfaces for 3 days how in the world can they say not to wash food packaging, plastics and cans that the food is in. I believe the food inside it safe, it’s the potential spreading of the virus from the packaging that umpteen people have already touched before you put it in your cart.! I wash whatever I can and if it’s in cardboard, let it sit for 24 hours.

Why waste disinfectant on packaging that’s gonna be discarded anyways . I simply open and first discard the boxes . Then wash my hands before touching face . Keeping things logical and economical
