A common conduct for the dominant firms in any industry is to petition regulators to create more hurdles to doing business that they can afford, but smaller businesses cannot afford, in order to drive competition out, and to also serve as barriers to entry. So the large grocery chain is going to ask the governments to require XYZ measures, which are written and tailored for the large, indoor supermarket and not for, or even possible, in an outdoor farmers market environment. They will also engage in subtle lobbying to instill opinion that farmers markets are crowded chaotic places where distancing is not feasible. They also view the markets as a uniform captive audience for a protest or demonstration. It looks like a gathering, where the crowd cannot be controlled by a doorway.

Sounds like creation of a food shortage crises. elimination of butcher shops so people not living on a farm are forced to consume Concentrated Animal Feed Operations. and from Fish Farms. Make people sick then jack them up with vaccines, by force.
