Anyone with half a brain is aware that a mask can be helpful in preventing the spread and inhibiting contracting of a virus that is airborne. I believe that the CDC and Pence knew the Chinese sent operatives into our nation to buy up all the mask so the American people would have no protection when the virus hit our shores. In order to not look totally inept at missing these important failures on the part of our intelligence agencies, they chose to try to bamboozle the people so they wouldn't go out and try to find a mask, only to see there were none. There is undeniable proof of this and operatives seeding the virus in big box stores and on car door handles. This greatly disappoints me as I worked very hard to get President Trump elected.

If someone with an upper respiratory virus coughs or sneezes in close proximity to you, a mask will offer some protection. How is this even debatable?!

First, WE were all told there was little danger and did not need masks or gloves.

Then, WE heard that there were not enough masks and gloves for health care personnel, so Harbor Freight and Home Depot donated what they had to local hospitals.

Then there were no masks or gloves to buy at Walmart or Walgreens, or anywhere else, but somehow WE all needed those to go anywhere.

Then they decided, since there were no masks or gloves available, you could tie a snot rag or bandanna over your face.....or anything really. It did not need to be a medical grade mask, because those were reserved for people working in hospitals, because they need them, and you don't, because you are not supposed to be going anywhere anyway."

Check the facts:

- Mongolia made wearing masks mandatory in January, resulting in minimal spread of epidemics. Closed the borders.

- Taiwan never locked down economy: they are wearing masks, streets and public transportation is pretty crowded. They make and distribute tens of millions of masks daily, being completely self sufficient. Restaurants have barriers at the tables, so that you don’t breath in other person’s face. While a mask does not prevent a viral intake, it significantly limits its “dose”, which is the key. They also closed the borders immediately (a common sense, isn’t it...) No incoming flights were permitted, even for repatriation. Taiwanese citizens abroad had to wait till mid April, to be able to come back.

- Czech Republic (Czechia) - despite a usual major Czech travel to Italy during spring break, the Czechs reacted quickly to the situation, made the mask wearing mandatory, closed the borders - their curve flattening is impressive, one of the best in the world, the same applies to Greeks...

Interestingly, the Czechs had a severe shortage of masks and the most of the population has been wearing home made masks.

So, all the naysayers: please go to www.worldometers.info/coronavirus and check the graph for the Czechia, before you say, masks don’t work - their curve was flattened by HOME MADE MASKS!

Your lungs excrete toxins from the lungs, if you’re wearing a mask you’re rebreathing your own toxins from your lungs, plus you’re oxygen uptake is greatly reduced and your not getting adequate oxygen for critical thinking!! This is basic common sense which People who wear masks are deficient in!! STOP TAKING ADVICE FROM THE CDC OR THE WHO!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! The cdc wants us to stay sick so they can continue sucking the life out of everyone!!!

Masks have been used for decades to prevent the spread of infection. See images from 1918 Flu Pandemic. Why all the questioning now? Just wear one. It's not rocket science.

The WHO advice on their "When and how to use a mask," web page is outdated, including the videos, because it is apparently based on the assumption that there is not asymptomatic spread. They really need to update it. (Perhaps they can't keep up for lack of funding.)

This ambiguous messaging from our administration is killing people. In my red state, only about a third of the people wear masks in public. A friend was in a store this week where a woman was coughing without a mask.

Why would health care workers wear them to protect themselves if face masks didn’t work!!
