It is merely another tax as anyone can get one this easily. It is good for 6 years so I will prob not surrender it for an enhanced drivers license that may be of shorter duration.  </p> <p>I need to complete some treatment for jaw misalignment due to a congenital birth defect once medical care is available again.  Strange how I lived all these years before it started causing problems and finally got noticed. I figure this is a good time to get a passport with facial imaging before identifying changes are made. Everyone should have a passport as you never know when you might need to cross a border. &nbsp;Maybe I will need to become an illegal and go pick fruit in Canada someday... esp. after the younger people become too frail for any physical labor.  ; - )  When we were younger, we kept passports up-to-date as employment would sometimes offer travel opportunities for people who were prepared to travel on short notice. </p> <p>Here is something hubby just mentioned. He said it took him about 18 months on his first job to realize the significance of the work he did. Prior to that, he did heavy physical labor where compensation was directly related to his daily productivity. It was a big change to just watching dots flash across a computer screen. (Yes, we had one of the first computers.) His supervisor at the time was &quot;a country boy&quot;, actually an older man.
