If physical distancing doesn't work then riddle me this: South Korea got their first case on the same day as the US, but their leader did not say it was another Democratic hoax. Instead, the country was shut down for about 70 days and they flattened the curve, and then were able to start up major league baseball last week. Also, in New Zealand their Prime Minister didn't go around saying Covid-19 would disappear "like a miracle" (still the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my 61 years). Instead she took measures, with the support of citizens, and flatten the curve. She has the admiration of people around the world, and the same people are scratching their heads over Trump saying "And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?" OMG! And some of his fans even tried it!

And to bethw779gmail (who doesn't allow replies to her comments) if it is the doing of Democrats then how were they able to convince 4,465,413 people around the world to get it, 299,426 to die, and everyone else in the world suffer great financial hardship, all on behalf of an American political party that they don't give a damn about? And how did Democrats get the virus and release it into the world in the first place? That's really quite the wild conspiracy theory she has!

Oh please, let us go back to normal, they have taken away the freedom that so many millions of people died for us so that we were able to be free. When I was young, we had the polio virus, in my 20s, we had to go and have Xrays because of the TB, tuberculosis was very contagious, the ones infected were sent to the sanatoriums, later I had the Hong Kong flu, I had a baby and looked after it, no one got sick and the world did not shut down. All of this smells badly, Bill Gates and Co. want to vaccinate us, he created computer viruses, now he/they want viruses in our bodies to be able to vaccinate and control us like robots, so sad. I am worried by the carnage that this will cause, broken homes, no jobs, domestic violence, suicides, etc. these will be the real killers, not the virus.

Oh my god, this is utter insanity. If our government simply took 2 or 3 trillion out of the defense budget and placed it in the healthcare infrastructure then we would be on better footing for this and future viral infections. Defending Americans should not only mean protecting democracy and liberties abroad but also protecting American citizens on our soil.

It's interesting to see how many doctors and other health professionals of high rank, agree that the misnamed "Social" distancing does not even work. Swedish WHO advisor Johan Giesecke, stated that the social distancing and lockdowns "have no science to it". Dr's Erickson and Massihi from California said "you don't quarantine the healthy, you quarantine the sick. If you are going to take away civil liberties, you had better have a very good reason for it ,a science based reason". They added that the immune system goes down when living in overly-sterile conditions. Agreeing with Dr Giesecke are Succharidt Bhakti, a prominent microbiologist from Germany, epidemiologist Knut Wittkowski from NY, and many others...who along with the two CA doctors, say that the shelter in place and social distancing, are as Dr Giesecke put it, "asking for a rebound effect".

And Dr Mercola, you have got t his one right, it is indeed a "miserable" experiment. I predict it won't last very long either. The people are going to reject it more and more. I look forward to seeing lots of lawsuits, left and right. I am glad that Tesla has said it will go to court about this.

Why include an article that has absolutely no real scientific evidence that the people were actually socially isolating. yes, indeed, they were staying at home but who else was in the home, did they get deliveries, did they see a doctor, where they a nursing home. This was simply a statement by Cuomo, and as I referenced the article in the actual publication, I saw no evidence of anything except word-of-mouth that this is actually true. There are no notes of a study or answers to any of the questions I posed above. I'm not sure who is selecting these articles for you dr. Mercola but this one was a disappointment and also careless regarding your reputation and the quality of the information you provide. It has absolutely done damage and I would suggest that you write something retracting that. Otherwise this ends up being a junk science site.

When reading through the Thinker article, someone stated it is untested pseudoscience. Untested pseudoscience , really is what is going on. Think about that one for a while.

Maybe they had gone to their doctor, or ER, or other health care source and been turned away & told to go home & self-isolate to protect other people, with NO treatment. This is what's happening.
