Stay Away From the Top 5 Most Dangerous Roads in the World
Posted by: Dr. Mercola

You'll wonder why people ever learned how to drive or even owned cars in some countries after reviewing these interesting images of some of the most dangerous and treacherous roads in the world.

All but one involve roads or pathways navigating around mountains. Pictured to the right is an image of a road in Bolivia known as the "Road of Death," for good reason: Some 200 people die while traveling it annually. Hard to imagine buses and big trucks twist around the Andes for some 70 kilometers from La Paz to Coroico, all on one narrow road daily.

However, the top choice -- the Siberian Road to Yakutsk -- is nothing but a dirt road that can become an impassable major humanitarian disaster during rainy times. In fact, some have reported women giving birth while waiting for the roads to clear.
