I"m a great fan of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas). I understand he is a Republican candidate for president. Although I strongly encourage people to seriously consider him, he is running against huge odds and the likelihood of a victory are remote.

Dr. Paul is also one of the very few physicians serving in Congress, and I agree completely with his positions on decreasing America"s involvement in the field of health care.

You"ll probably get a chuckle, as I did, about the sign sitting in plain sight on Dr. Paul"s desk in Washington that reminds visitors about the vast sums of our tax dollars the government wastes every day.
