The biotech corporation Monsanto is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity of the planet Earth. Their genetically modified seeds are putting age-old agricultural patterns at great risk.
A new documentary was aired on French television entitled “The World According to Monsanto” (Le Monde selon Monsanto). The documentary includes interviews with people of many different backgrounds, including Michael Taylor who has worked as a lawyer for Monsanto and also for the FDA, where he had great influence on the legalization of genetically modified bovine growth hormone (BGH).
Monsanto claims that their patented GM seeds and BGH will increase worldwide production of agricultural, dairy and meat products to the extent that worldwide hunger and poverty will be eradicated. The actual truth is just the opposite; genetically modified crops are creating serious damage all over the world, and BGH can cause numerous health problems.
