An article in the Huffington Post lists some foods filled with good-for-you vitamins, minerals and disease-fighting phytochemicals that you may not already be eating.  Here are some of them:

Pomegranate:  This fruit is full of antioxidants, natural chemicals that fight the harmful free radicals that damage your tissues and contribute to a variety of chronic conditions, such as heart disease, Alzheimer's and cancer.

Kale:  Kale also contains antioxidants, and is one of the best sources of vitamin A, which promotes eye and skin health and may help strengthen the immune system. A one-cup serving has almost as much vitamin C as an orange.

Kefir:   This drinkable fermented dairy beverage contains beneficial probiotics that may help give your immune system a boost.
