Use Your Cell Phone to Repel Mosquitos

Last month I posted an article reviewing natural approaches to avoiding mosquito bites, but this is certainly a new one. SK Telecom Co, South Korea's largest mobile phone operator said that it will offer cell phone users a new noise service for $2.50 a month that it says will repel mosquitoes. Customers download a sound wave that is inaudible to human ears but annoys mosquitoes within a range of three feet. Washington Post July 10, 2003
